We belong. Together.

We place a diversity and inclusion lens on all our people practices. Marymount has been awarded the Irish Centre for Diversity ‘Investors in Diversity Bronze Standard’.

We aim to support employees at all levels who have family or other caring responsibilities. These supports include part-time working options, paid maternity. We also offer leave early-stage pregnancy loss and leave for fertility treatments.

We have been awarded Great Place to Work accreditation, the Irish Times Best Workplace in Pharma & Healthcare and the HSE South Psyched Recognition.

The Wellbeing Service here at Marymount is a work-based initiative in place for all staff and indeed for the organisation itself. This is a professional, independent, and confidential service. It is in place to support employees from every department with any difficulties they may be facing, be they professional, personal, social, or other.

A team made up of caring, fellow employees across the organisation who have received specialist training in how best to support a colleague who may be experiencing a mental health issue and in connecting them with appropriate support where needed.

At Marymount, we believe in fostering a culture of LGBTIQA+ allyship as an integral part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We actively advocate for and support the rights and well-being of our LGBTIQA+ community members, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and included in every aspect of our organisation. Through ongoing education, awareness-building initiatives, and allyship events, we strive to create an environment where everyone can thrive authentically, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Together, we work towards a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

We provide comprehensive clinical supervision for all staff, ensuring both internal and external support as required. Our internal supervision is designed to offer immediate, on-site guidance and assistance, fostering a supportive environment where staff can discuss cases, and receive feedback.

Additionally, we recognise the importance of external supervision for broader perspectives and specialised expertise. Therefore, we arrange for external supervision sessions, allowing staff to gain insights from industry experts outside our organisation. This dual approach ensures that our staff are well-supported, continually improving their skills and maintaining high standards of care.

At Marymount, we understand that everyone’s needs and schedules are unique. That’s why we provide supports that encompass both physical and mental healthcare. Employees can access psychotherapist professionals from virtually anywhere and receive free, confidential counselling, whether virtually or in person.

At Marymount, we uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any behaviour that crosses the boundary of proven bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all employees. Any actions or behaviours’ that undermine this commitment, including any form of intimidation, discrimination, or unwanted advances, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We encourage all employees to speak up and report any incidents of inappropriate behaviours, confident in the knowledge that such reports will be taken seriously and addressed promptly, ensuring a workplace where everyone can feel secure and respected.
