Marymount University Hospital & Hospice
Wellbeing at Work
At Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, we see the whole you. Our approach is centred around a deeper level of care and respect for your personal experience. You can feel this in our services, our facilities, and in the ways, we invest in our staff.
We provide comprehensive clinical supervision for all staff, ensuring both internal and external support as required. Our internal supervision is designed to offer immediate, on-site guidance and assistance, fostering a supportive environment where staff can discuss cases, and receive feedback.
Additionally, we recognise the importance of external supervision for broader perspectives and specialised expertise. Therefore, we arrange for external supervision sessions, allowing staff to gain insights from industry experts outside our organisation. This dual approach ensures that our staff are well-supported, continually improving their skills and maintaining high standards of care.
At Marymount, we understand that everyone’s needs and schedules are unique. That’s why we provide supports that encompass both physical and mental healthcare. Employees can access psychotherapist professionals from virtually anywhere and receive free, confidential counselling, whether virtually or in person.
At Marymount, we uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any behaviour that crosses the boundary of proven bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all employees. Any actions or behaviours’ that undermine this commitment, including any form of intimidation, discrimination, or unwanted advances, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We encourage all employees to speak up and report any incidents of inappropriate behaviours, confident in the knowledge that such reports will be taken seriously and addressed promptly, ensuring a workplace where everyone can feel secure and respected.
