The Facilities Department is responsible for ensuring that the services and distribution systems of the hospital complex are in full working order. The department has established over forty maintenance contracts with specialist companies to ensure that the systems are operating at their optimum performance and our statutory obligations are met.

Services Provided:

Power, contingency back up power, specialist beds, fleet management, heat, lighting, passenger lifts, sanitary services and the general fabric of the building and grounds. The management of piped medical gasses, waste disposal and the co-ordinating and supervision of minor capital work is also carried out.

Within Marymount, the Facilities Department oversees maintenance, portering, gardening and fire, health & safety.
